Neil P. Patel is a Certified Public Accountant and has been the owner of Neil P. Patel, CPA PC since 1999. Neil works with small to medium enterprises to help them drive profitability and growth through better financial management.
Neil started his practice from the living room of his parent’s home in 1999. In 2005 he acquired a tax and accounting firm which, at that time, was 3 times his size. Neil strongly believes that small business has been and continues to be the backbone of the U.S. economy. He takes a no-nonsense approach to educating and guiding his clients to achieve their goals and realize their vision.
Prior to starting his practice, Neil worked with various public and private companies working his way up to controller. As the controller of companies of this size, he was provided with an understanding and knowledge of all the critical areas of a business necessary to run a successful enterprise. This experience has been invaluable in advising his clients, impacting the performance of their business and elevating profitability.
Neil graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Loyola University of Chicago. He sat for the CPA exam shortly after graduation and passed the first time. Neil is a member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Donna has spent more than a decade working with Neil Patel. Prior to her position as Accounting Specialist, she gained significant knowledge and experience during her twenty years as a small business owner operating a family owned business. She has a clear understanding of the challenges business owners face financially and the issues that arise in the day to day operations of their businesses. This has enabled her to build strong relationships and has gained the trust of the firm’s clients. Donna has a proven skill set that has helped small businesses with bookkeeping, sales tax and payroll. She believes that her dedication to giving business owners easy accessibility to accurate and reliable financial statements will poise their business for success.
Donna has always strived to provide their clients with the highest level of quality accounting, integrity and professionalism to ensure that each client receives the value that they deserve from the firm.
When she’s not working with clients, you will find her spending time with family and spoiling her five grandchildren. Her hobbies include traveling, dancing, gardening and swimming.
Mussett Young has been the Client Services Coordinator at Neil P. Patel, CPA PC for over 4 years. She handles all our client’s needs from beginning to end. She manages the firm’s office, secure portal system for all our clients to upload/download information, along with any logistics. Mussett is continuing her college education in business and is working to become an accountant. She has worked for many different-sized businesses in a variety of fields; marketing, production, services, which she would either be the head of the dept. or manage the business entirely. Mussett believes that working hard is a good habit to have.
Mussett is a native to Arizona, born and raised. She is married with a 20-year-old step daughter and 10-year-old son. When she is not working, she loves music, drawing and cooking for the family.
